Angels Vision of Angels Two Angels next to us : hello Sara, everything happened one winter morning, it was extremely harsh and cold winter, a particularly difficult period for both my brother and I, for my brother it was a very crucial time of his life (he was in full existential, spiritual crisis, he was in a state of “standby” life, where he did not know what he wanted.
I had recently a car accident so I had to get up extra early to catch the train, around 6, to begin physiotherapy at eight.
It was snowing heavily and the evening before I had asked my boyfriend if he could stay over at our house for the night with me, so we could go to the station together. That night my brother, before he went to bed, following a deep interior need, read the Psalm 91, which is a Psalm of protection to God. (He did not tell anyone that he had read it … nobody from the family knew this)
That night, my brother, myself and my boyfriend were all asleep … when at about four in the morning, my mother woke up, and without looking at what the time was, got up thinking: “It’s morning, and my daughter did not get out of bed yet!” …. So she went to the bathroom, then the kitchen, she drank a glass of water and then she came to the bedroom to wake me up.
She opened the door and saw two Angels: One tall one with huge wings, standing by the headboard of my brother’s bed, and with his hands close to his head, and one who was sitting on the bed of my boyfriend (now husband), caressing his forehead.
My mother’s jaw dropped! She closed the door, went back to bed, looked at the clock, and realized that it was actually too early to wake me up.
The few people to whom I told this story always ask me the same question: “and you? where was your Angel?” … well, I too asked myself that question … the only thing I know is that on that night I slept very well, without any back pain … (Usually I would wake up in the middle of the night with sharp back pain …)
The following day my mother told us what had happened, my brother told us about what he had read the night before ….
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!”
For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper
And from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with His pinions,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
No evil will befall you,
Nor will any plague come near your tent.
For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.
They will bear you up in their hands,
That you do not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread upon the lion and cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.
Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
With a long life I will satisfy him
And let him see My salvation.”
