The departed love us and are alive : dear Sara, I would like to share something with you, and ask your opinion on this episode; two months ago I underwent a surgery on my hand, it was successful, but the healing has been slow; one night I was woken up by the sensation that someone was caressing the palm of my injured hand, and did so incredibly delicately and sweetly, so I opened my eyes and I felt as if someone who was right next to me had just gotten up next to me, as if their head was right next to my face on the pillow, my eyes did not see anything but I certainly perceived everything, what do you think of this ‘visit’? those sensations were very clear, and they have accompanied me for days and days.
You know, Sara, my father passed away when I was 13 years old, I was raised by my mother, who was the pillar of my life, however she also passed in 2015; my grandparents are also no longer alive, I was extremely close to my maternal grandmother, I adored her, she was like my second mother; I was born in 1968, I would be the fourth daughter, I have two sisters who are much older than me, however in 1966 my brother Massimo was born, sadly he fell ill, and he died within a few months from birth; ever since I was very small there was often talk of Massimo in our family, my mother always remembered him, she would tell us of her great pain from her loss, and that the birth of me brought back a smile on everyone’s face, we often went to the cemetery to place a flower on his little grave, I always felt a very deep love for him, even though I never got a chance to meet him since I was born two years later, nevertheless, I missed him a lot in my lifetime, however, by feeling this strong and sweet bond with him, I always felt as if it was him being close to me, and that he is my Guardian Angel, since I was born right after his disappearance.
