The departed can see us : my grandfather passed away when I was 18 years old; between him and my grandmother there was a very special bond, I had lost my father when I was very young so my mother decided to go back and live with my grandparents; and so, we all lived in the same house, we lived on the first floor and my grandparents on the ground floor, we were always together; the evening my grandfather died, I cried the entire night, while all the relatives were gathered on the ground floor, I decided to retire to my room, distraught from the anguish; I was awake, I heard him walking in the corridor, with his tired gait he had had lately, dragging his slippers, I am sure it was his way of saying hello to me, and to tell me he was no longer suffering.
A few years later my grandmother died from a bad disease, which took her away from us within a couple of months, I dreamt of her with her face relaxed, serene, and smiling, she was standing in a large meadow covered in beautiful flowers with colors I can not even describe, I believe that was Paradise, and she was sending me unprecedented peace.
My beloved grandparents will be forever in my heart.
