Stopped by a rock while I fall : hi Sara, I received your answer, I wanted to talk to you about something that happened to me when I was a little girl, I was 7 or 8 years old, I will tell you because recently it was the Holy Trinity and this episode always comes to mind during this period, since it happened during the first, and the last time that I went to watch the Holy Trinity in Vallepietra, in the province of Rieti, Italy, I joined a bus tour (I say it was the last time because I never wanted to go by bus again from fear of it)
In the morning we woke up, my mother and I, and we left by bus early, it was about 5:30 in the morning together with some relatives and a local group … the trip there was fine, we arrived on top of the mountain and we started the pilgrimage … the road was full of potholes, you can imagine me, since I already tend to trip over on a normal road, you can imagine me walking on a road that is only made of stones … I kept walking, next to me on the left there was a precipice … on the right hand side were my relatives … at some point I lost my balance, and I fell down the precipice ….
My cousin’s father in law (who sadly passed away since) followed me …. I continued to roll down the mountain … I was so afraid … and suddenly, guess what stopped me in my track? A rock, which by coincidence was located exactly on my path … luckily, thanks to that rock, Stefano (that was his name) was able to rescue me … now, I know that it was the Sky that stopped my fall … so many times, Sara, the Sky helped me, and I have always been blind … once again thank you, Sky.
